CD Autorun function might be useful for some people, but not for all.
If you want to disable CD Autorun in your Windows XP,
just create a file with the content below and save as .reg file extension.
Once the file being created, double the click the file and update the windows registry.

Previously I patched w 98 by start run and applying a REG file.
today I took the above text etid out everything but the 2 lines and did a start / run’
winbdows xp told me it was NOT a valid REG file
I did it with and without the “microsoft registry editor” line
sam4e results
my cd will not autorun
I tried several cd’;s
what do I do?
